Vidhyanidhi Award

Dakshayani Amma Vidhyanidhi Award of Study materials,instituted by Janardhanan Pillai Endowment Trust was distributed  in the S.S.D Sisuvihar U.P School premises. Dr. N Radhakrishnan ( Vice Chairman of Kerala Gandhi SmarakaNidhi ) distributed the free study materials to financially backward but studious students of Sisuvihar U.P.S. In the function the Secretary of the Trust Sri Ajith Venniyoor, Vice President Dr. Maya, Treasurer Sri. K. Raghavan Nair, Ward Councillor Sri. Suresh kumar and School Manager Smt. Edappazhanji Santhakumari were present.

June 5 World Enviornmental Day

 

World  Enviornmental Day was celebrated on June 5th.

June 5th was a day of pride for Sisuvihar U.P.S Mr. Ken Love, the President of Hawaii Tropical Fruit Growers inagurated the prestigious function. The chief function was the honouring of the 'Mahagany'  Muthassi,in the school premises who is above 80 years old. He also planted a 'Jack Fruit' ( Then Varika) slapings near the 'Kavu' of our school.

Praveshanotsavam 2011 - 2012

The new commers of Std I of this school received the 'lighted chirags' frm their elders and steped in to this small temple of Saraswathy. Then they lighted the Nilavilakku placed in the courtyyard of the school.Then by breaking ballons and enjoing sweets, they made their entry a big celebration .
